The wait is finally over!
Arby’s will launch its first branch in Kuwait since it closed its doors in the 1990s.
The fast food chain, famous for its classic roast beef sandwiches, will hold its soft opening at its Jabriya location on Thursday, September 28.
Just off Fourth Ring Road, the standalone Arby’s shop is easy to spot with its familiar logo and trademark red.
Anyone walking in will be greeted by bright cheery walls, unique light fixtures, the large “A” light sign, and very friendly staff – all reminiscent of the Arby’s branches back in the US.
With so many quick bite offerings in Kuwait, what is so special about Arby’s?
Meaty sandwiches are clearly the king at Arby’s, with menu options like, the Classic Roast Beef, the Beef ‘N Cheddar, the Reuben (corned beef), the Angus Steak subs, and many more.
It’s no wonder their tag line is “We Have The Meats”.
We decided to first dig into the Beef ‘N Cheddar. Made with sourced, hand-crafted roast beef and mixed to perfection with the Arby’s special blend of cheddar cheese, this simple yet effective sandwich was one for the books.
We couldn’t resist the Classic Roast Beef and the Reuben of course, but the Angus Steak subs were just as delightful.
For those who have had Arby’s before, you know that no order is complete without their famous curly fries. Perfectly crunchy and oh-so twisty, each fry is enough to send you back to the days of your childhood with a huge smile on your face. And of course, their signature mozzarella sticks and potato cakes are excellent additions as well. Pro tip: the mozzarella sticks have an intense pull to them! So cheesy!
And because we were never one to resist something sweet, we finished off our meal with vanilla and chocolate milkshakes, topped off with whipped cream. All the whipped cream – just as it should be.
Concluding a satisfying experience at the much-anticipated eatery, we walked off happy and satiated. And so, we rang the large bell sported by the doorway to show our appreciation, which was greeted with a resounding “Thank You!” from the staff.
If you can’t make it all the way to Jabriya, Arby’s will also start deliveries shortly. And if parking is an issue, then fear not for Arby’s offers order and delivery, powered by iPads, while you wait in your car.
