Doesn’t matter what day it is – even sundae is a perfect day to have an ice cream. We’re total softies for this dessert.
(Ok, we’ll stop with the puns now)
Whether you like it as good ol’ vanilla or artisan, we have our list of favorite flavors and parlors to hit up!
There are some classics that can never be topped. We’re talking about good ol’ Kuwait Danish Dairy Company or KDD ice creams, available at your nearby supermarket or bakala. Want KDD on the go? No problem. The KDD ice cream truck guys are always parked on the side of the road, rain or shine, which makes them an enduring symbol of Kuwait.
Not only is the bright pink interiors of this American-owned brand enticing, but the serving and sundaes are generous enough to bring out the kid in you.
Vermilion Artisan Ice Cream
Black ice cream, for the goth in you. Need we say more?
Moo Milk Bar
Anyone who stops by Moo Milk Bar at their multiple locations in Kuwait (or orders online), will have a tough time picking from the exotic flavors such as Taro (purple sweet with potato) and Mr. Patrick (cotton candy). Of course you can make a meal out of it and try some of their deli items, coffees and flavored milks.
Scoop A Cone
If you like your ice cream more Italian, then check out Scoop A Cone’s cool selection of gelato – caramel, cheesecake, coconut, lotus and more! Bonus – they have tied up with Bilbayt so you can book an entire cart for your next private party.
If you like your ice cream infused with fruits then Helados Alacant is a must-try! Our favorites are the fresh coconut and pineapple flavors.
Cornflakes, birthday cake and cookie dough. Every flavor at the Urban Creamery (ice)screams comfort! (haha, sorry we couldn’t help it!). Be sure to check out our interview with the founder.
We couldn’t leave out the creamery at Rococoa at JACC, especially the salted caramel ice cream! It’s always the perfect end to a satisfying meal.
Now go out there and get served – soft served! (lol)
