In celebrating its 60th anniversary, the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) organized a memorable ceremony under the patronage and presence of H.H the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, H.H the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Speaker of the National Assembly Ahmad Al Saadoun, H.H the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Ahmad Al Sabah, along with NBK senior officials and NBK board members and executives.
NBK Vice Chairman Nasser Al Sayer, delivered a genuine speech on behalf of NBK Chairman Mohammad Al Bahar, expressing his deep appreciation for His Highness’s contribution in commemorating this important milestone for the bank that continues to serve our nation in providing the highest caliber of banking services for its loyal customers.
Sixty years of services express a remarkable milestone; paving the way for the banking industry in Kuwait as the first national bank and Shareholding Company in Kuwait and the GCC, NBK dedicates its continuous success to Kuwait. Paying a tribute to its home, Kuwait will always be where NBK belongs, evolving from a small bank that occupies the area of three shops to one of the largest and most profitable banks in the region.
During the elegant ceremony, NBK conducted a showing of a documentary film that highlighted NBK’s history and contributions in the development of the national economy. During the ceremony, NBK honored Bader Khaled Al Bader, Mohammad Saleh Behbehani, Meshari Mohammad Al Jassim, Nasser Mohammad Al Sayer and Suleiman Abdullah Al Eiban, and Abdel latif Ali Shehab, as its first customers for their continuous support and commitment to NBK since its establishment.
