The Palestinan Culture Center, in cooperation with Kuwait Graduates Society and the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Kuwait invites you to its second exhibition this year. This exhibition aims to preserve Palestinian handicrafts, reaffirming the Palestinian national identity, in addition to empowering refugee women in the camps.
Classic designs intertwined with modern usage, motifs and color will be on display. For those interesting in purchasing authentic Palestinian goods, items on sale include: handmade cushions, scarves, shawls, traditional dresses, and décor pieces such as ceramics and wood products. Books, music and movies will also be available.
Enjoy a bake sale of traditional food items, taking place on Thursday, the final day of the exhibition. In addition to the bake sale, food products imported from Palestine are on offer for purchase daily throughout the event.
Don’t miss the opportunity to watch an exciting, traditional dabkah folkdance, performed by a professional troupe of dancers, as well as the talented Coral Zaman, performing exclusively on Thursday at 6:30pm.
