What experience most defined your decision and desire to get into the food industry?

My mother inspired and gave me the passion when she cooked tasty fresh food for everybody at home. As I gained more interest I began to learn about more types of cuisine. I am always interested in the new trends of cooking from different styles, modern to classical.

Where is your favorite place to shop for food and ingredients in Kuwait?

Lulu Hyper Market and ingredients from Food Choice’s gourmet corner- lots of choice and great prices.

What food most reminds you of your mother’s house, and why?

Fresh vegetables and tender meat; my mother always told me to have the freshest possible meat and vegetables, so that the food would be tastier and healthy.

When you want to go somewhere else to eat, where do you go and why?

To the busiest restaurant and serving mixed cuisine from Oriental and International, because to get to know the real taste with quality and learn more to add on my knowledge.

Who in the world would you most like to cook for?

First, for my mother – to let her know what the reflection of how she inspired me to get to where I am now. I would really like to also participate in Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon  Ramsey and learn from his vast knowledge of the food business.

If you were to leave Kuwait and could take only one kitchen gadget with you, what would it be?

I will take my favorite vegetable knife with me because I believe that you should always prepare good food with good equipment.
