Last month, we introduced you to the innovative adventure travel platform, Rahhalah – a service that provides you an itinerary for an unforgettable trip. Offering detailed adventure travel plans all around the world, Rahhalah makes it their priority to expand your travel horizons and expose you to opportunities you might not have when embarking on adventures by yourself. This November, Rahhalah is offering one bazaar reader the opportunity of a lifetime!
Recently, Rahhalah held an adventurous travel experience in beautiful, historic Jordan, and are planning to reconvene with a similar itinerary in the cool, crisp month of December.
Jordan, with its scenic location on the east of the Jordan River, is defined by its ancient monuments, nature reserves and seaside resorts. It’s a home to the famed archaeological site of Petra, the Nabatean capital dating to around 300 B.C.E. Set in a narrow valley with tombs, temples and monuments carved into the surrounding pink sandstone cliffs. Petra is considered to be one of the New Seven wonders of the world, which is why Jordan is part of the “Seven Wonders of Rahhalah” program.
On your trip, you will engage in eye opening and heart-pumping activities through the ever-changing landscapes of Jordan’s southern regions. You will hike Petra through the back trail; participate in Desert survival skills course in the UN Heritage Site: Wadi Rum camp, enjoy the magnificent sunrise on camel back and visit authentic downtown Amman. This trip is jam packed with all the fun and adventure that could be fit into 3 eventful days.
This trip runs on a tight, exciting schedule that commences with a meet and greet by your guide at the Queen Alia International Airport and take you to the Wadi Rum camp, where the fun will begin. From there, you can expect to engage in activities such as an ice-breaker barbecue lunch with your travel companions, followed by hiking and more bonding.
Day two offers even more adventure with camel riding at sunrise, hiking through Petra’s mystical back trail, community work with the locals at the Bedouin camp of Petra, and a decadent feast of everyone’s favorite famous Jordanian dish – mansaf.
Day three promises you light and enjoyable excursions such as hiking into Little Petra. You will then make your way back to Amman with the group for an authentic downtown culinary experience, sampling some of the best traditional sweets and eats that Amman has to offer, before you’re escorted back to the airport at 6pm for your respective departing flights.
Like all Rahhalah journeys, this trip covers your double-occupancy accommodations, listed meals and activities. What isn’t included, however, are any additional food and drink items you may choose to consume, personal shopping items procured, tips and gratuities, additional activities, and international airfare and visa fees. This is why the on-point scheduling of a Rahhalah trip is firm and vital, so that you can book your flight of choice in accordance to the schedule’s arrival period (in this case, 9am on Friday, December 9th with a return flight booking that leaves at least at 8pm on Sunday, December 11).
Can’t find the time to travel between December 9th to the 11th, don’t worry! Rahhalah is planning another trip to Jordan shortly after, and in partnership with bazaar, Rahhalah is offering an amazing opportunity for you to win a complimentary Jordan experience with them on the weekend of Friday, December 30th till Monday, January 2nd for a special New Year’s Eve trip – because what better way to ring in the new year than to hit the “refresh” button on your life with an unforgettable experience?
To enter this competition, just “like” this post on our social media and comment with the hashtag #bazaarRahhalah. We will randomly select five lucky participants who will have the opportunity to meet with us to tell us why they would be deserving of Rahhalah’s Jordan experience.
Please note that there aren’t any real qualifications to fulfill for consideration, just be mindful that there will be a lot of moderate level physical activity during this trip – and that weather conditions could alter the itinerary (but trust that Rahhalah will save the day with back-up planning!) Be willing, be open, and have fun with it – that’s who the ideal candidate is. We would also like to remind the prospective winner that airfare and visa fees are not included, however as part of your prize, Rahhalah will be covering all other costs of your trip, not including any additional personal expenses you may wish to treat yourself to.
Happy traveling, and we hope you’re as excited about this trip as we are!
