There is one thing that no one here is likely to dispute – Kuwait is a hot country. If you can’t beat ‘em – then avoid em! That said, bazaar has included a list of things to do this summer for those of us who find themselves complaining that there is nothing to do here:
PAINTBALL KUWAIT
Paintball is a combination of the childhood game “tag” and “hide & seek”, but is much more challenging and sophisticated. Although there are many different game formats, typically a group of players will divide into two teams to play “Capture the flag”. The number of players on each team can vary from one, two, five, ten, up to 18 on each side of the field. In this battle, teamwork is essential and strategy is required to overcome your enemy and become number one. Rules for playing paintball vary widely, with most designed to ensure that participants have an adrenaline-filled rush in a safe environment. Basic package as low as 6.5 KD admission, including gun and required safety equipment.

Attractions include the Kiddy Pool area, the Lazy River, slides like the Kamikaze and the Tornado, relaxing Aloha Lagoon and for the more active: soap football!

SCUBA DIVING
One of the great places to do the dive course in Kuwait is with The Kuwait Diving Team guys. They offer a Discover Scuba Diving course which goes through the basics of diving so you can get an introduction before you sign up to their Open Water and Advanced courses, which start from 140 KD. The Discover Scuba Diving course is free and runs for around 3 hours. The Open Water course involves 5 pool dives, 5 classroom sessions and 4 open water sea dives. On completion of the Open Water course you would receive a scuba diving certificate and will be able to go diving with other certified scuba divers without a need for an instructor. JET SKIING
How could we tell you about all there is to do in Kuwait this summer without mentioning the ever-famous Jet Ski Rentals? Available to all throughout the year, not just during the summer months, you and your friends can rent Jet Skis right off the Gulf Road shore at one of several places. They tend to work the same way and often you need to keep your Civil ID with them while the Jet Ski is out with you, as well as sign a waiver/contract. Hot summer sun, splashing waves and high speeds make for a very self-sufficient, fun way to turn down the heat! A jet ski can be rented for 30 minutes, an hour, or longer at an average cost of 10-15 KD per hour.
There are a few companies along the Gulf Road waterfront who rent them for use on public beaches.
