This concept takes its name from the crispy, golden brown color of the fried yard bird goodness that is the focus of this delivery-only food service, an idea that started coming to together in 2013 by Basel Al Sulaiman and Ahmad Al Rabeea. Each element comes in its own specially designed brown cardboard box and wrapped in foil paper, keeping your delivery satisfyingly warm.
Look out for the “Farm Brown Lab” offerings which are limited-time-only recipes. The FB Lab sandwich bazaar tried had a well herbed hand-formed turkey patty that “tastes as good as a Cumberland sausage” said the Brit on our team, as well as crispy FB chicken in it. Placed in a cream bun and topped with crispy bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and caramelized onion, the No.7 sauce provides the finishing touches to what can only be described as a sizeable burger that won’t leave you wanting for anything more. A little birdy tells us to look forward to Spring 2019…did someone say, “Tartufo”?
If you directly order from Farm Brown’s website, you’ll get free delivery! Here you can choose from sandwiches, sides, fries, sauces and drinks for delivery straight to your door. All deliveries are free and subject only to a minimum order, the amount depending on your location.
With the hand-breaded fried chicken fillet featuring a standard consistency and crunch, it’s the way the sandwiches are built that supplies the range of choice available to customers. There are three recipes on offer: Classic, Just Hot and FB Black. If you are not used to spice then the Just Hot is a great chance to explore the endorphin rush you can get with a hint of red chili, but it is only just hot enough for you to be able to enjoy the taste of the sandwich and not be overwhelmed by the heat of the spices.
The bun of the FB Black may look intriguing but definitely give it a try because it is an instantly delicious sandwich. In just the first bite you can taste a number of different flavors with loads of Asian vinaigrette coleslaw and sauces keeping it juicy. The toasted sesame bun is blackened by charcoal; a top ten ingredient for what’s trending in food for 2019. Inside, the chicken’s Farm Brown Sticky Candied Red Sauce is paired with Asian vinaigrette-slaw, and a Thai chili sauce bringing the whole Eastern-themed offering together.

If you like to keep things simple, you cannot do better than choosing the FB Classic (featured image) which lets the chicken do all the talking by placing with it only fresh lettuce, mustard and pickles.
Fries are always the good measure of a food delivery service and the San Francisco Fries cooked in Soybean oil, garlic, fresh coriander, coarsely ground black pepper and sea salt were the first thing to completely disappear! We were then left to nibble on the other fries delivery which was slathered with cheese and heaps of jalapeños. Hot and cheesy!
Sampling a few sides from FB Chicken, we first dipped into Julie’s Corn which comes Texan-style, with the creamy sauce featuring a taste like lightly salted butter. The FB Salad comes crunchy fresh in deep reusable plastic packaging, keeping the fresh ingredients crisp. There is shredded white cabbage, a layer of Rocca, a smattering of black sesame seeds and a topping of thinly sliced onion pickles the color of purple beets. If you like your chicken crisp, then the Brown Strips are triple-dipped chicken tenderloin and should be dipped into the Honey Mustard Sauce for extra bite. Everyone likes a candied chicken and the Sticky Candied Bites are designed specially to fulfil that combined sweet savory hankering.
We think that Farm Brown Chicken hits the right spot when it comes to those unstoppable fried chicken cravings! Be sure to try it out the next time the hankering for fried chicken goodness strikes, and it is also perfect for those weekend gatherings with friends.
