Fantasy World believes in the importance of athleticism and good sportsmanship, and to encourage children to excel at their favorite sport, they awarded students who have shown talent and potential. The award ceremony took place in Crown Plaza’s Al Andalus Ball Room where students from various schools who excelled in various sports were honored for their achievements.
Fantasy World hosted this award ceremony to support students who take part in sports. The company believes in the welfare of kids and understands that physical fitness eventually leads to mental fitness. By awarding kids Fantasy World hopes to raise healthy competition amongst kids seeing them move away from a sedentary lifestyle and moving towards a more active one.
Mr. Harvey Dulku, Retail Director at Fantasy World said that he is proud to bring in the Excellence in School Sports Awards and thanked the parents who continue to support their kids by setting examples and reinforcing the benefits of physical exercise.
The Excellence in School Sports Awards also acknowledged the schools that encourage kids to take part in sports and promote the importance of physical health. Dasman Bilingual School, GHARS Bilingual School, Gulf English School and New English School were chosen and awarded for their excellent contribution in promoting their students in taking up sports activities. A total of twenty-four nominated students received the awards for their excellence in various sports activities and admirable attributes like the value of discipline, teamwork and commitment.
Taking about the award function Burhan Abdul Malik, from the Marketing Team at Fantasy World stated, “This is just the beginning, we hope to see more schools participating in next year’s Awards resulting in a bigger and better competition amongst children. This would mean more schools promoting sports activities and more children getting involved in sports and therefore physical activities and physical fitness. A healthy future and a healthy Kuwait.
