‘Miracle of Mind’, a new meditation app from renowned Indian Yogi Sadhguru has achieved an extraordinary milestone, surpassing 1 million downloads within its first 15 hours of release. This record-breaking achievement makes it the fastest-growing wellness app launch to date, exceeding the early adoption rates of ChatGPT (1M users in 5 days), CALM (1M in 4 years), Headspace (1M in two years) and other major technology hits.
The meditation is designed to help address common mental health challenges, and establish a simple, highly effective meditation practice in people’s lives, an incredibly short timing compared with the almost 5+ hours spent by Kuwait citizens each day on social media. The incredible download number highlights the increasing demand for accessible, and practical mental health solutions worldwide.
This launch addresses a global mental health crisis exacerbated by rising stress, anxiety, and digital burnout. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 8 people suffer a mental health disorder. There are increasing reports of anxiety and depression since the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, ‘Miracle of Mind’ aims to offer practical relief through just 7 minutes of daily meditation.
The free app will give people “a simple meditative process that you can do anywhere to bring a sense of peace, joy, and exuberance into your life to create mental health, emotional stability, and balance”.
Mental Health solutions are often viewed as costly or time-consuming, but Sadhguru said the ambition of this app is to encourage anyone to take a step towards wellness. He said it was created “to make sure that at least in small measure, people learn to access this instrument that is the human mind”.
The mind is “the greatest gadget on the planet”, he said. “This greatest gadget on the planet, instead of being a miracle, has become a misery manufacturing machine for most people. You may call it stress, anxiety, tension,” he said.
On the app, Sadhguru’s voice takes users through breathing exercises starting with seven minutes with an option to continue through to 21 minutes.
Dr. Balachundhar Subramaniam, Harvard Professor of Anesthesiology, has conducted extensive peer-reviewed research on meditation practices. His studies show significant improvements in mental health and interpersonal connections. He states: “Meditation has proven scientific benefits—better sleep, resilience to mental health challenges, and enhanced social interactions. What makes this app remarkable is its accessibility. Mental health solutions are often costly or time-consuming, but here, in just 7 minutes, anyone can take a step toward well-being. Given our already heavy phone usage across society, but especially among young people struggling with addiction to ‘brain rot’ content and social media-driven stress, this can be a game-changer.”
You can download the Miracle of Mind right now on the Google Store and App Store.
