Times might be difficult, but we don’t have to be miserable. Yoga Therapist, Life & Relationship Coach and Author Tina Mundelsee believes that you can still live a joyful life in challenging times.
Tina grew up in the beautiful surroundings of a small bavarian village in Germany, but her curiosity for life and people motivated her to move to the city when she was 16, to volunteer at the institute for the blind and disabled before going back to school. After finishing her education in Germany, she worked and lived in Greece, Costa Rica, USA, Switzerland, on a Cruise Ship, Kuwait and finally in Sicily, Italy where she currently lives with her partner, a dog and a cat. There, she found her Yoga Family and opened her own studio Live Love Laugh Yoga several years ago. Her life’s motto has always been, “Dream big, work hard, smile always, and good things will happen”, and that is what led her to travel the world, explore different mentalities and find many beautiful teachers who helped her on her path to a better understanding of life and herself.
Today she wants to offer the world what she has learned and experienced to help everyone live a more awakened and happy life. Tina is hosting a free online summit that brings together top experts from all walks of life to share their wisdom and offer you support and to inspire you in this challenging time of global change. Who is this summit for? Can teens or children attend too?
The summit is for everyone who feels a little emotionally, mentally or physically shaken by the events and circumstances of the past months, for everyone who struggles with worries, fear, anxiety or depression or everyone who is just curious about human life itself and its possibilities
This summit is dedicated to everyone who needs some support in getting their spirits up and mostly feel understood. This summit is an offering to everyone who is striving for a joyful life and knows that there are ways to make things better in our personal environment and in the world. This summit is there for everyone to get a feeling of connection and hope. We all go through ups and downs in life and this does not depend on our age or mentality. In this summit all speakers will share their personal stories, their knowledge and their tools to master our human mind, our thoughts and emotions and to find ease and joy even in challenging times. As earlier as we start to understand our thoughts, our emotions and why we humans suffer, the better! Everyone who is curious to understand the human experience a little better, will surely enjoy this summit! As more as we comprehend our mind’s chatter, as better can we choose what to believe or not, as better can we determine how we want to react to life events and circumstances and other people’s behaviors. This summit will empower you and remind you of who you really are but mostly it is a reminder that we are all sitting in the same boat, having the same struggles and that only if everyone of us works on themselves and their own happiness and inner peace, can me create a kinder world and a happier place for all generations to come.
What is the most important thing you want people to take away from the summit?
I guess the most important thing what people will take away when I sum up all interviews is that we all have the same innate power. We can tap into this unlimited source of power to heal our old wounds from the past, let go, forgive ourselves and others, create the emotions we want and determine the outcome of our thoughts, words and actions to a great amount. We are not victims of life, life events or other people’s behavior. The world is not coming towards us. We have the power to choose in every moment of our life what a situation means to us, and the meaning we give to every single moment of our life determines how we experience it. We are not our thoughts but can create the thoughts we need to experience life as we want and to create our destiny to a certain level. I want people to take away the knowledge that there are many tools available for us to deal with the ups and downs of life in a better way.
Training our mind is like physical exercise, the tools we share with you in this summit are like exercises that each one of us has to repeat and make a daily habit. Only if we practice with the intention to live a better life, a more joyful, peaceful and balanced life, and only if we dedicate time to our wellbeing and practice, we will have the success we so deeply desire. Nobody can do this for you. We, helping professionals, are here for you to give you the tools and then you use your power and intention and take your life into your hands.
We encourage you to practice Self-Acceptance, Self-Love and Self-Care. Any practice you choose, is an act of self-love. You do it for yourself with the intention to feel better and at ease. And remember, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Only if you feel ok and only if you love yourself, are you able to love others, let others love you and contribute to the happiness of others.
How did you choose the people who are teaching? Is there something in common between all of them?
I have been a Yoga therapist and Personal Coach for over 15 years and I have participated myself in many courses, met many wonderful professionals on the way and read hundreds of books about healing, self-development, spiritual life, and mental health. I contacted some of the people I have met personally on my path and others who I knew as authors of books. Together with my assistant Emiliano, we researched and contacted people who we thought would be a perfect fit for our summit, according to their long experience and their teachings. All speakers have in common their intention to help others on the path of life. We are all here, not because our lives are perfect and we know better, but because we have found some tools that work for us and have helped us personally on our journey. Once you understood that with your innate power and energy you can contribute to your own health and mental balance, you feel almost obliged to share these tools with others.
Why did you decide to offer this summit for free?
Since the beginning of Covid-19 and the lockdown I have found myself in financial difficulties and I know that so many people around the globe are facing the same challenges. Especially when we fear that we cannot provide for our basic needs, like food, rent, monthly income etc, we lose balance, we lose our security and our minds get messed up! When our minds are full of personal fear and worry and existential fear, we have a hard time being kind to ourselves and others. And we know where this is leading. So I wanted to offer something for free, but mostly available to everyone, no matter where you are from and what financial possibilities you have.
And we’re definitely signing up because it is just what we need right now.
