Like many other working men and women of Kuwait, we love to order lunch to the office. It saves so much time and worry (and gives us a cheeky extra 20 minutes to sleep in!) But we have to be picky based on our location and find ourselves frequenting these 7 hot spots.
Why we love it: Azumami serves up some fresh sushi and succulent sashimi, and when it comes to making healthier dietary choices, it isn’t too difficult to find a delicious little meal that won’t hurt your wallet or your waistline.

Why we love it: Leila is our more indulgent choice when we’re craving some prerequisite protein to go along with an after work gym excursion. For those of us who are watching our figures, we tend to opt for Leila’s lighter options – a lean yet juicy grill like Leila Light Platter – with grilled chicken and veggies. For the indulgent, classic Lebanese goodies are aplenty.
Why we love it: Has Kababji ever messed up anyone’s order? It’s dependable. It will always be there for you. From Beirut to Kuwait, whether you’re on a diet or you’re one of the lucky ones who can eat whatever you want, Kababji is always the solution to the lunchtime rut.

Why we love it: Sometimes, you just want to say “what the heck” and have a sneaky, piping dish of pasta in the office before you go back home for mama’s cooking. Nino’s is not only one of our favorite delivery options, but one of Kuwait’s all time favorite Italian eateries as well. Besides pastas, there are also plenty of excellent and indulgent mains to choose from.
Why we love it: Our boss does, and he sometimes convinces us to put away our diets and have Taco Bell with him.

Why we love it: This delicious spot offers all the flavors of the world coming from one tiny kitchen, making it an amazing place to order from if your lunchtime buddies are all craving different cuisines. From pastas to salads to award winning sandwiches, Q at the Yard is sure to please any taste palate.
Why we love it: Nothing brings a team of hardworking journalists and publishers together like a good old fashioned Shawarma, and with 95% of us being born and bred in the 965 – we know our shawarma. This hole in the wall serves up some mean (not lean) shawarma that would make our Arabian forefathers proud, and with our office being located in the Free Trade Zone, it delivers well!

Editor’s Note: If your restaurant (or favorite restaurant) isn’t on this list, it doesn’t mean we’re not a fan – but factor in traffic and location, and understand that delivering to Shuwaikh Port doesn’t necessarily define a restaurant’s true food quality! We’re also a team of hungry and impatient writers, but we’re always open to recommendations!
