Once you take a step inside one of Blaze Pizza’s branches in Kuwait and have a glance at the menu, it’s all fairly simple. It is essentially a walking process where you head to the counter, as the lovely staff cater to your preferences, toppings, and make sure that the pizza you like is perfectly created and baked for your satisfaction. But, if your imagination is running low, and you’re too tired of hand picking your toppings, then the eight Signature Pizzas at Blaze will be at the same level as your own pizza creation!
Blaze Pizza has the talents of Chef Bradford Kent and his critically-acclaimed pizza behind them. All of the branches make their own dough from scratch every day, using a recipe that Kent developed. It needs to go through a 24-hour fermentation period to give us this signature light yet crisp crust pizza, while they’re all fast-fire’d in 180 seconds.
As the chain continued to branch out in K-town, the widely popular Signature Pizzas grew with them. Starting with the first one which is the Red Vine, a classic that is piled up with red sauce, ovalini mozzarella, parmesan, basil, extra virgin olive oil drizzle, and finally cherry tomatoes on top. Loved by everyone at Blaze, no one ever gets bored or tired of it.
Blaze’s second Signature Pizza is the BBQ Chicken for all those who love a BBQ flavored pizza. The chicken is grilled and the toppings are set with mozzarella, red onions, banana peppers, blue cheese, and the fabulous BBQ sauce drizzle. The third pizza is the Meat Eater, the name alone says it all as it comes with pepperoni, Italian style meatballs, red onions, mozzarella, and a classical red sauce. If you’re a Blaze Pizza fanatic, you might think and ask “Wait, isn’t the Meat Eater similar to another Signature Pizza?” Well, not entirely.
While Hot Link does have similar ingredients, it is spicier (watch out for the heat) as its base is the spicy red sauce rather than the classic. It also comes with Jalapenos, banana peppers, and black olives. We have tried this tip before, but it’s wise to mention again. Add some red peppers to your Hot Link pizza, and top it off with chili flakes to fully embrace the spicy kick you’ll definitely receive after just one bite.
If you are vegetarian, then you will definitely enjoy Art Lover. The name comes from its main ingredient which is artichokes, and to strengthen the ingredient’s flavor, it is also served with both mozzarella and ricotta, chopped garlic and red sauce dollops. You can also indulge in the classic Veg Out pizza that is filled with seasonal veggies.
The last two pizzas on Blaze’s menu are the Green Stripe and White Top. The Green Stripe is bazaar’s favorite after The Hot Link, its pesto drizzle over the chicken is divine, with roasted red peppers, chopped garlic and arugula. while White Top includes a classic white sauce with beef bacon, oregano, arugula and mozzarella. You also get the chance to choose your type of dough, thin, thick, or even gluten-free, which is perfect for people with different nutritional needs, or pizza crust preferences.
Too much pizza? We all know that there’s no such thing! But you can pair one of your Signature Pizzas with salads, and Blaze has three. The crowd favorite is the Antipasto, along with Caesar salad or you can build your own salad dish, a perk that never gets old no matter how many times we visit.
The atmosphere of a fast, yet casual dining at the intersection between affordable fast-food and high-end dining is unbeatable with Blaze. It will always feel rich, but remaining to be down-to-earth. You get artisanal pizza made with high-quality ingredients at a fraction of the cost, and that is all presented into their Signature Pizzas. If you haven’t tried it yet, then what are you waiting for?!
