The Blues isn’t a genre you would normally expect to come from the Middle East, but its simple narrative style totally works for us! Which is great because the Kuwait-based Ali Sleeq Blues Band have just dropped their latest music video and we’re totally loving it. It is from their debut music album, Gonna Die With the Blues, that was released earlier this April.

The animation style and colors are so rich and interesting. We love all forms of creativity and this one takes the cake. The song pokes fun at the use of fake remedies a.k.a snake oil or things that either do nothing for us or are really harm us. But with all music, you can interpret it whatever way you want.
