Since we’re all spending a lot of time indoors, we might as well be listening to some great music while we’re at it! This is why we couldn’t be more excited about Carol Souki’s highly anticipated release of her first solo album, Ride.
Carol Souki’s first solo album is out now on all music platforms! Ride is the ultimate culmination of the artist’s experiences, and in celebrating the launch of her first body of work, Carol has also released the album’s eponymous single and video that is filmed and directed in Kuwait by South African Vanderliefde Productions.

The 8-track album of songs is written by Carol, recounting tales of her personal encounters with love, deception, and life. Ride features songs performed in Spanish, English, and Arabic with R&B, Latin, and Pop Middle Eastern flavors–a true reflection of Carol’s vibrant Venezuelan-Lebanese heritage and her experiences living in South America, the US, Lebanon, and Kuwait.
The album includes singles “Ride”, “I Want You”, “Could this Be”, “Realidad”, “Different Kinda Love”, “Playa”, “Lies”, and “You”. You can listen to all of the tracks for free on Carol’s website!
The album Ride was created in collaboration with various musicians and producers from Kuwait and Bahrain including The Juke Pro, Outlaw Productions, Daffy (Production and Mixing), Andres Mayo and Metropolis Studios (Mastering). Featured artists on Ride include the vocal stylings of Flipperachi in “You”, Daffy in “Could this Be”. In the track “Ride”, featured artists include Essa Hashemi, Aziz Al Sharhan and the amazing poem that is recited at the end of the track by Fay Al Humoud. The talented saxophone player Abdullah Haji collaborated with Carol on “Could it Be” and “Realidad”. Sarah Nabil’s production and mixing prowess is featured in “Playa”, and Adel Qattan’s incredible guitar rhythms can be heard in “I Want You”. The talented guitarist and musical composer Omar Salem, as well as musician, composer and producer Hashem AlNasser, powerfully elevate the soulful track “Different Kinda Love”.
