Growing up and watching my mother and my grandmother cooking in the kitchen always intrigued me to understand the beauty in cooking. The simplicity of putting different ingredients together, to create complex tastes that could put a smile on anybody face. That’s how I knew that I wanted to
be a chef.
Where is your favorite place to shop for food and ingredients in Kuwait?
Saveco and Sultan Center, and for spices I head to Souq Al Mubarakiya.
What food most reminds you of your mother’s house, and why?
Beef Vegetable stew. This is one of the dishes we eat at home.
When you want to go somewhere else to eat, where do you go and why?

I would have to love to cook for Ataturk the founding father of Turkey.
