What experience most defined your decision and desire to get into the food blogging industry?
My marriage! I never took a single picture of food when I was single, I have never cooked before that actually, but when I got married and moved to Kuwait and had to start cooking, I found a new pleasure in my life, and was so proud that I wanted to share those delicious dishes that I made with my mom so I started taking pictures of what I cook and send it over to her, after that gradually I found myself enjoying taking pics of almost everything I eat, and hence my passion for everything delicious grow.
What do you love the most about food blogging?
The fact that I can share everything about my eating experiences by using beautiful pictures and simple words.
Where is your favorite place to shop for food and ingredients in Kuwait?
I am always on the hunt for clean, fresh, and delicious ingredients wherever that may be.
What food most reminds you of your family’s house, and why?
Soups and stews, they remind me very much of my mom and cozy family gatherings especially in winter.
What is your favorite restaurant and what is your favorite dish there?
This is the hardest question, I have many, I’ll name a few:
The publik: Red Earth Salad and eggs roll.
The breakfast club: Sunshine & Brisket eggs Benedict & kinder pancake.
Slider station: All American burger and Buffalo Shrimps
Yuba: Almonds sushi, crunchy crab roll, and Yuba salad.
Pick: the pasta salad and the frozen yogurt of course.
Who in the world would you most like to cook for?
I can’t think of anyone special. I just love cooking for my family and friends.
Name 3 ingredients that start with the first letter of your name.
Dates, Dill Pickles and Dark Chocolate
What do you think will be the biggest food trend of 2019?
I would say we’ll see more vegetarian restaurants in Kuwait, and healthier eating trends. I guess the concept of farm-to-table will have a bigger share of the food market in Kuwait as well.
