Q: What experience most defined your decision and desire to get into the food industry?
My wife, and my love for food, that’s for sure! My wife is a baker, cake decorator and a great cook. She inspires me whenever she comes up with something new, and I’m usually her taste tester, hence my love and passion for food in general. I have always wondered how restaurant kitchens operate, and what the secrets behind all the successful restaurants are. This curiousity made me dig deeper, and discover the treasure of the F&B industry.
Q: What do you love the most about your current job?
There’s a lot to love about being a modern marketer. Our profession is getting more creative and more technical at the same time. We can start with a cool idea, inform it with up-to-the-minute data, and share it with the world, all without leaving our desks. We get paid to write, create, and build relationships. If we’re doing the job right, we can have fun and actually, genuinely help people at the same time.
