For the Fall 2022 season, DKNY has tapped a diverse cast of talent including model and climate champion Quannah Chasinghorse, Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, rockstar and activist Julia Cumming, and global singer-songwriter Yendry for its latest ad campaign titled “TODAY I FEEL.” The campaign celebrates and supports the emotional comfort of all those who share and wear exactly how they’re feeling.
Breaking August 22nd, the campaign was shot by Sam Rock and styled by Edward Bowleg. This collective of individuals was photographed in unexpected and dynamic portraits to capture the raw and optimistic vigor of New York City. From embracing the artistic spirit of the Lower East Side to taking in the view from a Brooklyn rooftop, the campaign reflects the energy of the city by capturing the unique feelings that are special to these locations.
The campaign features creative with the prompt “TODAY I FEEL” followed by a variety of moods and emotions. Individual, uplifting, and at times, stirring, the text captures a wide range of perspectives, experiences and ideals of the modern New Yorker.
Each talent appears in hero styles from the Fall 2022 collection: checked suiting, vegan leather, and statement outerwear for her; athleisure sets, fresh tailoring, and easy essentials for him.
We are empowered to wear what we feel and encouraged to express every facet of ourselves in the way we dress. To never let anyone else define what we wear, or how we feel, no matter how hard they may try. Radiate confidence in a printed mini dress, feel like a badass in a leather trench and combat boots, or zen out in a matching workout set. Whatever you’re feeling, show it off.
DKNY is partnering with mental health organization the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)) to create a customizable sweatshirt with the campaign tagline “Today I Feel” as a prompt for consumers, celebrities and advocates to celebrate their feelings and inspire self-expression on World Mental Health Day and every day
DKNY will introduce the #IFeelDKNY hashtag through high-impact outdoor advertising in key global markets and with a digital-first approach with a focus on influencer partnerships. The limited-edition customizable “TODAY I FEEL” sweatshirt will be available to preorder on DKNY. com and in select global retailers beginning September 6th.
