New York, New York! Since its founding in 1989, DKNY has been synonymous with New York – the most iconic city in the world. This season, the brand pays tribute with the spring 2023 “IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW” campaign, a love letter to the city that provides constant inspiration. From sitting on the steps of the met to hopping on the ferry for Brooklyn, this is the real New York.
Photographed at hidden gems throughout the city, the campaign takes inspiration from the local haunts and iconic institutions that have shaped us over the years. Whether stopping for a slice of pizza downtown or skateboarding at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, embrace the spontaneous nature of urban life and anything it may bring.
The campaign includes an eclectic cast of talent including model and influencer Devon Lee Carlson, artist and musician Annahstasia Enuke, and TikTok star Cameron Porras. Photographed by Dan Martensen and styled by Alastair Mckimm, the images embody the invigorating, uninhibited energy of New York, from the Bronx to the basketball courts of West 4th Street. Hero items from the collection include sportswear-inspired outerwear, lightweight knitwear, and casual suiting. Styles are available in signature DKNY colorways of black and white, with colorful interjections of persimmon, cantaloupe, and goldfinch yellow.
The Spring 2023 campaign will take a digital-first approach with a focus on paid social content and high caliber influencer partnerships. The campaign will be leveraged with high-impact outdoor advertising across New York City, as well as in key global markets. The collection will be available globally starting February 7th on DKNY. com and in select global retailers.
