As an ambitious athlete, social butterfly, and university student, Fahad has so many useful tips and tricks up his sleeve to achieve success across all fronts. Through his experiences, he has learned how to balance a challenging work-load. No stranger to extracurricular success, Musallam has topped the podium at several competitions in quad racing. Fahad remains keen on pursuing his education, however, as he is currently majoring in Mass Communications at the Gulf University of Science Technology (GUST). He is also a fitness enthusiast and an athlete who has provided us with the ultimate guide to being back to university.
Time management
This is Fahad’s number one tip, time management is imperative in being able to balance fitness, university, athletic training, and social life. Allocate an appropriate amount of time for each task and ensure you allow time for unwinding to free your mind from those daily stressors.
Pay attention in class
Fahad encourages all University students to pay attention in class, as much as they possibly can. In his opinion, you will be able to absorb a lot of information and particularly avoid time-consuming cramming sessions before midterms or finals.
Ask for help
Friends can be a great source for destressing. A helping hand can assist in studying and offering that much needed emotional support, which can greatly take the pressure off specifically during midterms and finals. You can even start a study group to review materials and test each other out!
Stay active
An exercise schedule promotes brain development, boosts your mood, and improves concentration. All of the aforementioned benefits can prove to be essential to university students with a busy schedule like Fahad’s.
