With an innate interest in how the body works, Fahed Al-Sultan found his calling in biology. Having completed his undergrad in Molecular Biology and his post-grad in Bio-Technology, Fahed gained insight on why certain discomforts and pains occur. With his knowledge and a health conscious family background, it was only natural to find his passion in getting people’s health in check. “I used to make fun of people that used to do juice cleanses, until I went on one when I was living in New York,” Fahed laughed. Reaping the benefits of juicing, Fahed continued to go on monthly cleanses for a year upon his return to Kuwait and his immunity is stronger than ever. After meeting his now founding partner, Dana Al Salem, Re-Juice was born – Kuwait’s first juice cleanse service.
Re-Juice provides cleanses for just a single a day or up to seven days, with juices created with zero additives and balancing the nutritional values for each cleanse. Fahed and the Re-Juice team exclusively use a cold-press juicer to ensure that all of the benefits that arrive with consuming fruit and vegetable juices are optimally retained. “People have a misconception that healthy means it won’t taste good,” Fahed smiled, but because healthy can be delicious, a lot of work has gone into creating these concoctions to keep this fallacy at bay. Currently growing as much of their own produce as possible and as organically as they can, Re-Juice creates a premium product for your health benefit. Using locally grown produce means you’re getting the full nutritional value – “Take strawberries as an example,” Fahed explained, “they’re always picked when they’re green and left to ripen in crates on their way here! But we pick the strawberries when they’re fully matured, sweet and ready to be eaten.” Wanting to get to know the man behind the juice a little better, we sat with Chief Juicing Officer – “because why not keep it fun?” – Fahed Sultan for a friendly game of truth or dare.
