Foot Locker Inc., the leading global specialty athletic retailer, in partnership with Alshaya Group, recently opened its pioneering concept Power Store in The Avenues – Kuwait, following the successful launch of the first Power Store earlier this year in The Dubai Mall, UAE. With more than 730 square meters of retail space, Foot Locker’s newest store model provides full-family shopping for men, women and kids, in footwear, apparel and accessories from top athletic brands including Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, Puma and more. These spaces, designed to inspire youth culture and build communities, will break new ground by delivering an immersive retail experience with premium products, elevated instore presentations including a dedicated women’s section, and enhanced customer experiences through an activation space.
“The opening of The Avenues Power Store is a pinnacle expression of the Foot Locker brand in the Middle East. Alshaya Group successfully operates over 70 Foot Locker stores in seven GCC countries, with the addition of two Power Stores – the first of its kind in the region. In addition to Dubai and Kuwait, Foot Locker has community-based Power Stores across the globe in key cities like London, Liverpool, Hong Kong, New York and Detroit and is expected to open more new locations in 2020.
