Forget about those stuffy stiff shirted steakhouses with this Argentinean steakhouse. This is a nouveau grill; steel and dark wood design combining the tradition of the steakhouse yet bringing it into a modern setting. There is also an open kitchen with the asado grill on view and a stylish interlacing of black and white floor tiling and furniture. Style and humor are combined in the attractive and sensually satisfying cow-hide and hair covering the chairs. The restaurant has seating on 2 floors and a private room for 10 that is always popular. The upper floor accommodating a capacity of 60 has a more intimate and romantic feel to it, whilst the ground level with a capacity of 80 has the hustle and bustle of a busy steakhouse. The definitive and signature quality is the Argentinean beef that is chilled and not frozen. The Gaucho steaks only come from young steers that have feasted on the lush, rich grass of the Argentinean Pampas. Informed and articulate waiters will bring your choice of steaks to you on a wooden board. Don’t worry if you don’t want steak, from seafood to poultry there will be plenty to tempt you. Opening hours are from noon until midnight. Booking is advisable on weekends.
