We all are faced with the question, how can I give back to my country? We all strive to do our part in many different ways, coming up with better environmental solutions, encouraging a healthy economy, supporting local businesses, and much more. In yet another spectacular gesture that is GiveKuwait, Wataniya Telecom goes above and beyond in answering this question.
In an effort to engage the local media and bloggers to encourage young, innovative minds to participate in GiveKuwait, Wataniya hosted a fabulous evening at the ultra hip Japanese Restaurant, Tatami, where the friendly Wataniya communications team presented the details of GiveKuwait to the attendees, stressing the importance of empowering talent, and maximizing the potential of creative minds in Kuwait. After the presentation, members of the press, along with a prominent selection of bloggers, took turns asking questions as to how they could participate in raising awareness, and how GiveKuwait would give back to the participants.
What is GiveKuwait?
GiveKuwait is Wataniya’s initiative to empower talent and give young people a chance to maximize their potential. This is a platform that will give young stars an opportunity to shine by giving them exposure, connectivity and development. This year, GiveKuwait is going to be much bigger, giving participants the opportunity to showcase new products and gain knowledge.
Benefits of GiveKuwait?
Wataniya is looking for innovative ideas, products and services and GiveKuwait will put selected participants on the path to success! Wataniya will organize one of the largest exhibitions of its kind, where more than 100 participants will receive free space and booths in the exhibition hall for five days. An advertising campaign will showcase the selected participants via radio, billboards and press ads. Not only so, the GiveKuwait website will allow for the constant promotion of participants, as they will be able to further promote their innovative ideas, products, and services via the GiveKuwait website and smartphone app.
Throughout the month of March, members of the press, along with a wide selection of bloggers, continued to broadcast the event, and all the details about GiveKuwait, through their various tools of communication, including twitter and facebook, calling on all young entrepreneurs to participate and register for this opportunity. The gesture of communicating this message alone is an empowering one, showing a great sense of community, and a productive viable synergy between corporations and citizens alike, working together towards honoring a greater good.
We cannot wait to see the final exhibition, which starts on the 12th until the 16th of April at the Mishref International Fair Grounds! For ambitious entrepreneurs, remember that greatness only comes with daring to begin.
