Fall is a magical season. The weather is perfect. We can wear boots again. And we can start dreaming of desert camping. We had a discussion at the office and realized that everyone loves the months for different and possibly surprising reasons. Here’s what we had to say.

Fall Fave: Fuzzy Socks
Why: I love the fall because the time has finally come where wearing my fuzzy socks to bed every night doesn’t seem ludacris.

Fall Fave: Comfort Food
Why: Cooler weather is the perfect time to make deliciously hot, cheesy affairs, creamy risottos, rich stews and spicy soups. Tom Yum is my go to soup in the Autumn but anything that warms up your insides and is highly calorific makes you feel great when the days are short and it’s chilly outside. Wrapping yourself up in a quilt indulging in Netflix may be what we’ve done all summer but it feels like you’re pampering yourself rather just keeping sane when accompanied with steaming hot chocolate stuffed full of melting marshmallows.

Fall Fave: Cozy clothing
Why: A disclaimer: I totally love summer outfits! Shorts, cotton tees, dresses are my go-to during vacation in the blistering heat. But when the weather starts to cool, I jump at the opportunity to layer up in cardigans, full-sleeve blouses and colorful scarves. That means I am super comfortable all day, whether inside or outside the office. Pair it with boots and add on a coat for colder weather/winter and you can’t help but look put together with minimum effort!

Fall Fave: Walking to work
Why: I am very fortunate that I live 12 minutes away from the office. That is if I walk at a semi-brisk pace. And yes I have timed it. I usually enjoy my walks from November until March. It is a great way to start the day and a perfect way to unwind on my way home. If I am in the mood for more exercise I will take the scenic route. By the time I am home, I have completely disconnected from work mode and ready for chill at home time.
