Since the launch of the first Blank Staples collection in September 2020, H&M has continuously kept raising the standard for men’s everyday essentials. Now the Blank Staples range gets it third update, with additional styles, new colors and materials.
The highly considered collection features sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and tees cut from heavyweight cotton fabrics with a dry hand feel. This drop also includes accessories such as slippers, sports socks, hats and underwear. All silhouettes are relaxed and oversized, and each style comes in a modern color palette of brown, off white and black, now with the additions of grey melange, green and navy.
Blank Staples is conceived and created by the men’s design team at H&M, partnering with Highsnobiety to work on campaigns and future collaborations. The campaign for the release is centered around dance and expressions through movement, and is shot in Berlin together with Highsnobiety. As in everything H&M does, sustainability is a key factor to this collection. The heavy Frech Terry fabric is produced from 100 % organic cotton, and all other materials are more sustainably sourced.
Blank Staples is based around the concept of a blank canvas for creativity. The collection is designed to let the wearers express themselves, with minimalist design open for interpretation. The toned down aesthetics make it a contemporary fashion statement, leaving space and options open for combinations: either with other monochrome basics, or as a compliment to other menswear. This core collection from H&M elevates the basics, with subtle but highly considered design aesthetics, each piece finished with its own blank label.
The fresh addition to this collection of premium quality streetwear will arrive at kw.hm.com and in selected stores worldwide on September 2, 2021.
