Mango launched #BEanICON, its new mixed campaign, which highlights the value of personality, as part of its commitment to offer garments that allow each person to develop their own style and express themselves through fashion.
This season, the brand is working more intimately with its community and has chosen six fashion icons, influencers and creatives, to work together on its new campaign. It shows how personality, and not just trends, is the best guide for curating a style.
Fashion and portrait, photographer extraordinaire Dan Martensen captures intimate moments with Jeanne Damas, Veronika Heilbrunner, Pernille Teisbaek, André Saraiva, Justin O’Shea and Shuhei Nishiguchi in some of our favorite cities such as London, Tokyo, Copenhagen and Paris.
All of the outfits that were created for the Autum/ Winter’19 campaign were shot in different locations. The result is a campaign which demonstrates that any style has a place in the global world without limits. But more than that, it serves as a brand manifesto, and an invitation for all of us to define our own style through their collections.
Three women, Jeanne Damas, Veronika Heilbrunner and Pernille Teisbaek, with three distinct styles show us how different aesthetics can all be tailored and made to become your own.
With unmistakable yet very different styles they present the trends in their home cities. Jeanne, who has collaborated with Mango in various campaigns, reflects the Paris that lives inside her. A très chic style that adds an air of sophistication to autumnal outfits.
Veronika Heilbrunner, one of the #Mangogirls for several seasons now, constantly surprises us with her combinations that work for any time of the day and reminds us that rules are for breaking. For everyday wear, Pernille’s outfits, inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, are a safe bet.
For the men’s collection, three international icons show us that so much is possible. André Saraiva, influential graffiti artist who is collaborating with Mango Man with the André x Mango capsule, is defined by a fusion of international styles. Justin O’Shea, designer and partner of Veronika Heilbrunner, shows us how to avoid the boring businessman outfit.
With his tattoos and ironic gestures, Justin has become an icon. Finally, Shuhei Nishiguchi, fashion director and a regular in street style images, translates his knowledge of fashion into a contemporary vision of the male wardrobe.
