As a non-profit, volunteer organization aimed at improving the quality of life in Kuwait, we at @MantaqaMe collaborated with TSG team for our upcoming rehabilitation project. It’s scheduled for Sat. 29th, and everyone is welcome to join. You might recognize us from the Jabriya pedestrian graffiti tunnel project, but we’ve made much more sustainable projects like SOMU square, and Qortuba’s public park restoration.
Our latest project focuses on The Secret Garden. A garden that’s run by non-profit volunteers to maintain and enrich its soil. TSG is a daily vital gathering spot for its surrounding residents and a weekly destination for people from all around Kuwait to practice gardening, socializing with people from different backgrounds, and having a good time. It suffered a huge destruction this summer and it needs the help of as much people we could gather to get it back on its feet.
Goal: Restore The Secret Garden back to its cheerful shape
Tasks: Planting, digging swales, painting the garden wall, and finally cleaning everything we’ve left.
When: This Saturday 29th of October, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Location: Baghdad St. Salmiya
This event is open for public. Just bring your shovels and prepare to get dirty!
