From 2020 and beyond, the brand’s entire faux leather accessory and shoe range will be vegan. Monki has always voiced its concern for animal welfare. The brand does not presently produce any products in leather, down and feathers – but for the very small percentage of existing older products, Monki has a strict policy for animal welfare in its Sustainability Commitment. Containing a no-no list of completely restricted materials that it does not use in any Monki garments, store interiors, packaging and other non-commercial goods. Including no rainforest products, no real furs and no angora, cashmere or mohair wool. And the brand does not test any products on animals. The brand has been granted PETA approved certification for its new range of faux leather vegan accessories including on-trend tiny handbags, card cases and statement shoes.
The collection is available in stores now. For more information, visit Monki located in Grand Avenue – The Avenues. Follow @monki on Instagram for more Monki style ideas.
