Sintoho has killer views, and a lively ambience you cannot miss out on. Located in the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait, it overlooks a gorgeous view of Kuwait City. Your surroundings ensure your delicious meal can be enjoyed in a luminous setting. A modern Far East feast of its own, Sintoho’s meals are uniquely tasting and considerably in a class of its own.
Although choosing a favorite dish from Sintoho is a weighty decision and is not one to be taken lightly, rest assured that you won’t be disappointed. Better yet, why don’t you let us help? We have taken on the initiative and listed below the top five dishes we love to eat at Sintoho and we’ve even found the perfect mocktails to complete your meal!
First off is the Yellowfin Tuna, which happens to be a fan favorite. Delicately flavored with creamy tartar and plated with a side of crispy rice and passion fruit salsa, it is sure to make your taste buds come to life!
The next item is the Stone Pot Cooked Rice. This experience is a semi interactive one, where your plate is delivered to you in a stone pot on a serving trolley. Stir fried rice, shiitake mushrooms, yellow chives, Chinese cabbage, bok choi and morning glory are placed in concrete stone bowls by the pot and mixed into the rice. For the final product, your choice of Chilean seabass or slow cooked Wagyu beef ribs is also stirred in.
For the meat lovers, you will love this third dish. Called the Tajima bone in Japanese cross-bred wagyu +7 tomahawk, it is a special steak with the bone in. This serving is great for two guests and can best be paired with one of their delicious mocktails. We recommend pairing this with Tokyo Nights, which is a luscious mixture of cranberry, ginger and yuzu juice with maraschino cherries, peach and sweet basil seeds.
When Trufflin’ deliciousness is involved, the Mushroom and Truffle Dim Sum comes in. Aesthetically pleasing and vividly delicious, this plate contains wild mushrooms, truffle paste and fresh black truffle shavings.
The Tandoori-style chicken tender bao’s called the Active Charcoal Bao is served with a Kachumber salad, lime wedges and organic raita. This synergy of flavors compliments the Senasia mocktail perfectly. The Senasia is a divine combination of mango juice, coconut milk, pandan syrup and passion fruit.
The large deep-sea cardinal prawn is offered on the menu at Sintoho as well, and is by far one of the best seafood options! The Red Prawns dish contains carabineros shrimps, which are cooked to perfection and coated with togarashi (a Japanese spice mixture) and pepper salsa.
Always saving the best for last, our chosen Sintoho dessert option is quite the delicacy with 100% vegan flavors. The Galangal Ginger Soy Milk Ice Cream is made with dairy-free galangal-ginger ice cream and sits beautifully on almond sponge cake and some raspberries. With that, grabbing an order of the Pearl of Orient drink makes for the perfect finale. Enjoy your mocktail that is a light blend of pineapple juice, coconut milk, yuzu Juice, pandan syrup and homemade coconut candy that is delicately placed in the glass.
