Cole Haan, the iconic American performance lifestyle brand, launched a new brand campaign and product collection for Fall 2022 in September. The Work For What You Believe In campaign stars an array of inspirational, real-life changemakers who serve as the inspiration behind the Fall assortment made to support work, play, and the everyday moments that matter.
The campaign marks the emergence of a new era where what we do is an expression of who we are and what we believe. It features inspirational individuals who embody the collective and individual passions that drive each and every one of us. The brand tapped five changemakers in Kuwait who are inspiring others to follow their passion.
Sara Al Homood, Dancer: Joffrey School Graduate, founder of the Institute of Performance Arts, and Restaurateur Sara Al Humood cultivates a safe space for movement online. The Mexican Kuwaiti hybrid loves to utilize dance to motivate people, and she channels her culinary passions at Azteca, her family restaurant.
“Working on something you love, giving it your 100% every day and building a community that is inspired by it is what working for what you believe in is all about.
My love for dance, It makes me happy. On my best days, as well as my not-so-great days.
It’s consistent in the fact that it’s always there for me which is what I want for more people.
I want to make movement arts accessible to as many people as possible and extend the opportunities I didn’t have growing up by offering that caliber of training here in Kuwait.”
Farah Bishara, DJ: Farah Bishara is Kuwaiti DJ renowned for her 90s hip hop sets on vinyl, and founder of Kuwait’s first vinyl store, Vinyl Destination. Challenging local gender stereotypes about women in the entertainment field, Farah has always pushed boundaries by pursuing her passion.
“To me, “Work for what you believe in” means working to make your dreams come true, no matter how wild they are.
I’m working towards happiness and fulfillment for myself and for others. And I chose to do that through music.
Music is what inspired me. It gave my heart a home and birthed my purpose, and I want to share that feeling with everyone I meet on this crazy ride.

Dana Ghareeb, Nutrition & Wellness coach: Dana Ghareeb is a passionate nutritionist and Business Owner that educates her followers about the value of healthy eating. She is also the founder of Wafra Wellness, a lifestyle website focused on all aspects of wellness as well as local food subscriptions.

Faisal Al Nashmi, Chef: Local Executive Chef and President of the Kuwait Chef Club Faisal Al Nashmi brings to Kuwait elevated dining experiences in the form of Al Makan Table Otto, Street Café Kuwait, Pam and Cow, San Ristorante, Experimental Eatery and Zuba’s Kitchen.

“I’ve struggled my whole life with being told that art is just a “hobby”, but I believed that I could be anything I set my mind to.
For me, the phrase “work for what you believe in” literally represents my life ethos. No matter the opposition or the challenges and resistance one faces, if you hold steadfast in your beliefs, work hard to develop your art, success will surely follow.
