In less than a month, Lotus will launch the Type 130, an all-new hypercar and the first all-electric hypercar from a British manufacturer.
The Type 130, Lotus’ first all-new product in decades, was showcased at the Shanghai International Auto Show 2019 last month and will be revealed to the world’s media at an exclusive event in Central London on July 16.
Type 130, built at Hethel in Norfolk, UK, continues the legendary bloodline from Lotus during its 71-year history, which has seen a number of true game-changers introduced in both motorsport and sportscars.
“Type 130 will be the most dynamically accomplished Lotus in our history. It marks a turning point for our brand and is a showcase of what we are capable of and what is to come from Lotus.”
CEO Phil Popham
