If you didn’t know, Prague is often referred to as the city of 100 spires! Add to this the gorgeous architecture and world-class museums, it is definitely a must visit city. Prague brings together a lovely mix of tradition, culture and art with a bohemian vibe. This city is almost fairy tale-like. Whether you are there for the food, fashion, or souvenirs to take home, Prague has it all!
When you visit Prague, don’t miss these attractions:
Prague Castle – Built in the 9th century, Prague Castle is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. Prague Castle has an area of almost 70,000 m², and is considered to be the largest castle complex in the world. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The castle is home to a composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings, bringing together different architectural styles such as 10th century Romanesque-style buildings all the way to the 14th Century Gothic modifications.
Old Town Square (home to the Prague Astronomical Clock) – Founded in the 12th century, the Old Town Square is one of the most significant landmarks in the city’s history. The square was home to many historical events that have shaped Prague. Memorial stones in the pavement symbolise the executions of 27 Czech Lords in 1621. The square is also home to one the oldest astronomical clocks in the world (installed in 1410) that is still operational.
National Library (Clementinum) – Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world, Prague’s Strahov Library is housed in the city’s Clementium complex. The building is home to thousands of books, as well as unique antique objects and gorgeous frescoes adorn the walls.

Shoug AlShirazi and Mariam Alkandari explored the natural wonderland of Moscow, Russia @Shouggate & @mrm0o0ora
Moscow is a city that has a story to tell. You will start noticing all the secrets the city has to tell as you visit the parks, the statues and monuments, the water fountains, or even enjoy the local street food. Moscow has a variety of tourist hotspots as well as many activities for families and individuals alike. The city is at its charming best during winter, but also delights in the summer and spring season with picturesque green forests.
When you reach Moscow, you absolutely cannot miss:
The Moscow Kremlin – This is Moscow’s main sightseeing attraction, the Kremlin is located in the heart of Russia’s capital, and is considered to be Europe’s largest fortress. The Kremlin is connected to all of the historical and political events in the country since the 13th Century.
Red Square – The Red Square has been a public marketplace and meeting spot for centuries and houses the ornate 16th-century St. Basil’s Cathedral, the State Historical Museum and the enormous GUM Department Store. Additionally, the square has within it the modernist mausoleum for the revolutionary leader Vladimir Lenin.
Moskva River Tour – We definitely recommend a dining tour on the River Moskova, which is best enjoyed when the river is iced in. All of the boats that run along the river are able to break the ice, which aside from the gorgeous scenery, is an experience within itself.
Noura Khan adventured in Dushanbe, Tajikistan @Nourajtraveller
The city of Dushanbe is set in a valley which is adorned by the Gissar Mountains in the North and East, and the Karatau range peaks to the south. Home to less than 1 million people, the capital of Tajikistan is becoming known for its architectural proximity to Dubai. Dushanbe embraces its cultural and architectural past, but the city now features more and more skyscrapers made of steel and glass that glitter in the skies.
These are some of the hotspots to visit in Dushanbe:
National Museum of Tajikistan – This museum is set on the banks of the River Varzob, which makes it one of the most beautiful backdrops for a treasure trove of artefacts and antiquities.
Mevlana Yakub Charki Mosque – This mosque was formerly the largest mosque in the city, but still remains one of the most beautiful. It is one of the city’s most frequented buildings.
Fann Mountains – The views make the drive from the city, which takes a couple of hours, worth the trip to the Fann Mountains. This is considered to be the most scenic region of the country with gorgeous mountains, green valleys and large lakes. If you are inclined to adventure, these mountains have some great treks that are just waiting to be explored!

These caves are not only an astonishing glance into Saudi Arabia’s rich culture and history, but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Al Nafud Desert – For those who enjoy off-road adventures, there’s little to beat the 40,000km2 of rusty red sands offered by the Al Nafud Desert. Whether you rent a 4×4 or go dune-bashing with a guide, this is the ultimate destination for the adrenaline junkies!
Shammar Mountains – Pack your camera and your hiking shoes! The Shammar Mountains are a must-see if you enjoy a good hike and historical sites.
