The new Sintoho is the destination in Kuwait for the best food, coolest vibes, and incredible beats selected by a live DJ. Experience the famous bao dumplings and mouth- watering sushi while the Mixologist prepares your beverage of choice on the bar counter. Prepare for an action-filled dining experience, as all hot dishes are prepared in the dining room using Sintoho’s featured Robata grill, the Bao Steamer and the Teppanyaki table.
Soaring above the city on the 21st floor, Sintoho invites guests to discover the best of modern Far-Eastern cuisine as they dine high in the sky while reveling in the restaurant’s energetic vibe and lively ambience. A dynamic hub of exotic flavors and culinary art, the stylish venue offers an interactive experience for diners as dishes are prepared before their eyes, filling the air with irresistible aromas.
Guests can choose from an assortment of the finest cuts from the Robata grill, delicious bao dumplings fresh from the steamer and creative dishes prepared on an authentic Japanese Teppanyaki table. The new menu also features an extensive array of sushi selections, while the restaurant’s resident Mixologists will be on hand to shake things up as they prepare a range of refreshing cocktails at the bar counter.
Upon entrance, guests are greeted by lovely staff members, who specialize in providing a distinguished customer experience. Guests will be assisted on a walk to their table, passing by a gorgeous entryway and an in-house DJ, before arriving to their spot. A palate cleansing shot is offered first, some days it could be a warm honey, ginger and lemon while other days it could be something completely different. Next up, remarkable drinks are offered by Sintoho’s very own Mixologists. For our last visit, we tried the delicious Tokyo Night and Pearl of Orient which were, to say the least, very unique both in presentation and taste. #MustTryMocktails
The house music in the background compliments the sophisticated theme and luxury of the restaurant. In a setting where basically all of Kuwait is captured outside the window, all your senses will be satiated. The lounge and its neutral color palette of the interior brings a calmness that prepares you to enjoy a memorable meal ahead.
For appetizers, options are vastly inclusive. With the choice of ordering different delicious salads, such as the Young Spinach Sprouts which is basically baby spinach leaves, with dry-miso, parmesan cheese and a yuzu-truffle dressing. For truffle lovers, this order is a no brainer.
There are also non-vegetarian options, such as the Rock Popcorn Shrimps, for anyone wanting to start with a more filling meal. Next, for dumplings, always perfect for sharing, the options are simple. There are four dumplings in a ceramic dish that come with a lid to keep your dumplings nice and steamy. They range from Prawns, Scallops, Mushroom and Truffle, Pak Choi and Chicken. Sintoho also offers Bao, Tacos and sliders for our more traditional people.
For main courses, a plate of delicious food from the interactive robatayaki experience awaits you with live cooking at the grill.
For extra fun and flavor, try their new options of Teppanyaki with the popular juggling of the iron griddle that will cook your food in front of you. Sintoho has reinvented the dining experience into a sumptuous culinary affair.
Other favored main dishes are the Makizushi and Hand-rolled sushi offerings. Titled “Never too late”, “Canadian Lobster”, “California Maki”, “Salmon and Avocado” and “Yellowtail Hamachi”, they make for delightful bites to share, or to keep to yourself. We suggest keeping to yourself.
Just when you think things can’t get any better, dessert will be introduced. With their remarkable Matcha sponge cake and ice cream, your taste buds will be revived once again. Sintoho also offers a 100% vegan dessert which consists of a ridiculously good raspberry sauce, with ice cream and almond sponge cake. Alongside many meaty options, Sintoho prides itself on having a special plant-based menu just as tasty so you do not feel left out at all.
