H&M just launched their new men’s Athleisure collection in Berlin with an event of more than 100 guests! Feel like you’ve missed the party though? Don’t worry, the collection is available across H&M stores in Kuwait as well as online starting today!
Hosted together with INDIE magazine, the launch event took place at Uferstudios, a rehearsal, venue and training center for contemporary dance made for and used by independent artists. Guests were treated to a performance by The Ruggeds, a breakdance group from the Netherlands – member Rico stars in the accompanying campaign – and DJs. There was also a surprise performance by rap artist Kelvyn Colt to cap off the memorable evening.
The campaign for the H&M Athleisure collection stars a strong cast of streetwise personalities, including professional freerunner athletes, break-dancers, and a martial art professional.
The H&M Athleisure collection, which features a range of outerwear, tops, bottoms and accessories for men, is now available in selected stores as well as online. Key items include a black shirt-style jacket in nylon with patch pockets to the front and matching cargo trousers, a black lightweight puffer vest, matching hoodie and joggers with ticker-tape style inserts down the legs and along the arms, and a hooded anorak with side zip pockets and a kangaroo pocket to the front. The clothes have a distinct silhouette – slightly tapered trousers with drawstring waists, wide cuffs and boxy jackets with a high neck. Overall, details such as patch pockets, cargo pockets, mesh linings and contrast zips are mixed with lightweight tech materials – waterproof and windproof – and thick jersey, with a color palette of black, white, cream, khaki green, and greys, and reflexive details.
