You can easily create a dish out of following a recipe that you found online. Following directions can come easily to some, or it might even take some practice for others. Nonetheless, the end result of following any given recipe is never identical. There’s always a special ingredient that adds something magical to a dish, and that ingredient happens to be love! Nobody knows this as well as the culinary experts at Love Restaurant in Divonne Complex in Abu Al Hasaniya.
Under the culinary prowess of Chef Ranjith alongside food gurus Abdulaziz Al Anezi and Mohammed Al Anezi, Love Restaurant celebrates the flavors of the world through an internationally themed menu that offers decadent flavors that never compromise on quality. Furthermore, they use an award-winning, hormone-free, organic selection of meats and fresh produce when possible in preparing their dishes. Expect Italian Lobster Rigatoni, next to a hearty dish like Mediterranean Lamb Chops—that’s what Love Restaurant is all about, enjoying flavors prepared with love that never discriminates.
The setting of the restaurant is indeed modern and amorous, glitzy and glamorous; with blush pink, sleek black colors and intricate cut-out wall fixtures in modernistic designs. It’s all about a classic love story imagined in a cosmopolitan time where food is prepared with passion, but presented in the most stylish of fashions. We also adore the weekly themed nights at Love Restaurant that feature live music, and the outside patio area makes for the perfect spot to enjoy the evening breeze while dining in a decadent environment.
If you find yourself craving eggs for breakfast, we highly recommend the Oeuf Portabella, prepared with indulgent truffle oil that is beautifully offset with sharp Parmesan cheese and fresh micro herbs that delicately decorates this dish.
When visiting Love Restaurant, head there in a group, and make sure to share the ‘love’. Try out the amazing Arancinotto, a modern take on risotto balls with cheddar, tomato aioli, and a tangy Balsamic glaze that cuts through the creaminess of the Americanized Italian classic. We also recommend the wild mushroom fungi pizza that is extremely rich with flavor and boasts an expertly prepared sourdough crust. With truffle oil and fresh buffalo mozzarella, this dish will be consumed in mere seconds. For those of you who believe that all is fair in love and war, then the crossfire, a towering dish complete with fresh cut potato floss, nachos and plenty of spicy cheese, is not to be missed! The Brisket Hassel back however, is a different story. This dish is thoughtful and innovative, as the potato is firstly cut into thin slices using a mandolin, and then smothered in cream and slowly cooked melt-in-your-mouth brisket, only to warm your heart with love.
As far as salads are concerned, the menu is abundant with options at Love Restaurant, and we highly recommend the Mexicana for the love of all things naughty and nice! With sweetcorn, fragrant cilantro, jalapeno and nachos with a soothing ranch sauce, this salad will truly hit the spot. They also have a selection of healthy salads, where the quinoa proved to be a favorite of ours.
From their burgers selection, we delved right into the Cola Sliders. These were juicy, flavorful, slightly sweet yet smartly balanced with a crispy onion ring placed atop the beef patty to absorb the addictive sauce and add a wonderful texture to this slider.
Everyone likes a good risotto, but to love a risotto commands said risotto to be perfectly prepared. There’s the worry of overcooking the risotto, or perhaps not cooking it long enough. At Love Restaurant, however, your love for their dishes is earned through the way that the food is cooked with such passion and expertise. The Risotto Gone Wild includes a freshly prepared blend of 6-7 different types of mushroom, all slowly simmered in a velvety smooth and creamy sauce to allow for the earthiness of the mushroom to shine through with every bite.
Love can be sweet and decadent, which is why the desserts at Love Restaurant deliver on the promise of sweetness and joy. The desserts are truly imaginative, and can be enjoyed as an end to your meal at Love or for breakfast. All of the delectable sweets at Love Restaurant are powered by its partnering dessert concept Choco Queen. While both concepts are young, they have both captured the hearts and minds of diners from the GCC region, making both Love Restaurant and Choco Queen the ultimate destination for weekend dining and boasting long waiting lists.
