How would you rate the competition?

In every industry, competition is always healthy and we have it in Kuwait, it’s always a challenge. Since we are the only one in the market focusing on retail supplies for parties and events we are able to differentiate ourselves from our competition.

What makes you different from other competitors?

We have different ranges of products for party supplies, for example we have good quality supplies including balloons, costumes, party favors, and piñatas. When clients come to our stores they will find all of their party needs.

Are you pioneers in your field?

Party Land Kuwait has been established since 2001, and we have been the leaders in the market for the past 9-years. After that, other businesses have opened up, but they mostly focus on events.

How would you rate your experience since you opened?

The experience is amazing, as we are seeing our culture’s attitude change towards the idea of what they require from a party supplies business thus allowing us to better meet their event planning needs.

What are your plans for 2013?

We are excited for the future of our store in Salmiya in Symphony mall since we opened it last January. More importantly, we can’t wait for the Halloween season to start, as our customers will see a lot of new items.

Any plans for regional expansion?

Our plan is to open stores throughout the GCC area, including Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain in the next 2 years.

What is your expansion vision?

Our expansion will stick to the same vision towards retail business all around the GCC, without doing events or private parties. We are going to make it easy for all customers to come to our stores and create their own themes and parties.

Why did you choose Symphony mall in Salmiya as a location for your new store?

We conducted market research for our clients and 85% chose Salmiya as a preferred location. Given that we previously had a location in Marina Mall, Symphony Mall seemed like the perfect place, since it’s on the busiest street in Salmiya.

Are you thinking of any future branches in Kuwait?

One more store will open in Kuwait. Market research suggests we should head south to the Fahaheel area and we like to listen to our customer’s needs.

Do you consider yourself as a market leader?

If you ask any of our customers where is the best place to purchase party supplies, they will mention Party Land. Since we have opened the first party supplies retail concept in Kuwait, we have been the leaders in this field.

Will you be able to be a supplier for other small to medium enterprises working in the same field?

We are open to any small business and we will be helping them with any of our products. We believe in establishing healthy relationships with our suppliers and equally we are doing the same, as we are taking on the role of supplying other stores.

What are your most popular services you offer?

Party Land is well known for balloon creations of all types, sizes, and colors. For the past 2 years we have added costumes for all ages and varieties, and this is another one of our strong selling points.

How do you rate your customer service?

For our business, clients come first! Without them, we wouldn’t still be standing. We are always looking to train our staff to better handle and assist our clients. Thankfully, we never had any issues with our clients so far, and we are working hard on making sure this never happens in the future.
